Croatian Adriatic destinations
Along the Croatian coast, which spreads for over than 1700km, are situated many towns and 1185 islands, and each one of them is different.
Main island destinations are Brijuni (national park), Krk, Cres, Susak (one of the rare islands that nature created from sand), Kornati (national park), and many more. When visiting towns you can see a variety of cultural heritage, some towns are older than 3000 years.  Team of the renowned tourist guide Rough Guides was full of praise and compliments for Croatia in its latest issue. Croatia is a "high quality tourist destination" was stated in the 25th anniversary special edition of this world's most famous tourist guides - Rough Guides. . This particular edition of Rough Guide published on the occasion of its 25 years in publication is a special collection of the "25 best experiences", of which Croatia is mentioned in two of these "experiences".

 Frenchman Thomas Coville started his race with the clock yesterday on board 105-foot maxi-trimaran Sodeb'O. He crossed the start line in his bid against the clock yesterday at 13:54:14. To break the record he needs to beat Francis Joyon's record of 57 days, 13 hours, 34 minutes and 6 seconds. Thomas Coville unsuccessfully attempted to break the record on December 17, 2007 but he retired after 20th day of his campaign, after discovering his starboard float was damaged.

 In the study conducted by the online travel agency lastminute.com, in which 5000 people participated Brits have voted Croatian women as the most beautiful in the World. Basically the study was a quiz on a general knowledge of cities, flags, natural beauty and cultural heritage. However the respondent’s answers were given by their own personal travel experiences the study brings other conclusions such as the trend in travelling habits of the British people.
