ALPFA Internship and Leadership ProgramUpdate
Message from the Director of Student Affairs
I want to thank you for participating in the ALPFA Internship and Leadership Program. ALPFA is appreciative of the interest you had in this endeavor and grateful for the support. It is through your collaboration that the ALPFA Internship and Leadership Program will continue to gain momentum and achieve success.

Your support played a significant role in the development and the launching of this program. The students that came about were bright students full of enthusiasm to learn more about the value of internships.

A key to professional success is making those critical connections as students transition from college; internships can be that bridge into the professional sector. Students have told me how beneficial internships were in their careers and, if we can facilitate that, with the support of our sponsors and ALPFA leaders, it will reinforce ALPFA as an organization dedicated to putting more minorities in the field.  Read More...

Also special thanks to Iliana Estrada, ALPFA NJ Deputy Chair of Student Affairs for leading the efforts in the student initiative of launching new student chapters.  Special thanks to the NJ student affairs committee member Omar Abdeldayem, Daniela Ortiz and Peter Garcia from Seton Hall University for participating in the Kean interest meeting.

Our students have contributed significantly to the success of the ALPFA New Jersey chapter and the high level of energy and passion is quite evident.
